At Clancy’s we do not buy prepared fish or chicken. We found if we buy fresh chicken it comes in a saline solution. Compare it to our fresh thawed chicken breast, which we slice, portion, dip in batter and fry in zero trans-fat oil and you will see again why we are so picky with our preparation of your meal, because it should taste like chicken or fish.

Taters    now you ask what is the big deal with spuds… Our last name is Tatar, pronounced tay’-ter so in a nutshell to us it is a big deal. To you it means every spud we serve is special to us and it is treated with the upmost care to be prepared to specific standards so the most flavor can be translated into satisfaction within your mind and body. With so many different choices out there, russets and sweet potatoes are the two we have found to fit our recipes the best. Nothing out of a can or a bag, no reconstituted taters, just fresh wholesome tubers for your dining pleasure.

Clancy’s Taters are russet 90 count spuds we wash and bake. Then we slice them and chill till needed. A little clarified butter or bacon grease on a 450 degree griddle and these slices of joy are turned into part of a meal that hase made grown men tear up after just one bite. Goodness sometimes comes in strange places. Try them and see if Clancy’s Kitchen can be considered a strange place for you today. Order with any meal or sandwich.        3.49

Mashed Potatoes are russets peeled, rinsed, cut and boiled till tender. They are drained and then mashed with 2% milk and an European butter blend margarine. Some salt finishes off the process. Yes they will be lumps, little morsels of goodness to tease the inside of your mouth. Enjoy with gravy or butter.         3.49

Clancy’s Chips are russet or sweet potatoes sliced and rinsed then drained and dropped into zero trans-fat oil. Potato chips made to accompany your order for your basket or dinner.     Side   1.29    ½ basket   2.49    basket   3.49

Sweet Potato Fries or Russet Fries are the only frozen potatoes allowed by Diane in the restaurant. They are here by popular demand… I will say the sweet potatoes fries are crinkle cut and are…  mmmmmmmmm good.  The russet fries are just good ole French fries.

     Side   2.29      ½ basket   3.49     basket   4.49

Sweet Potato Hash is Clancy’s Taters with onions and diced sweet potatoes grilled in our clarified European butter blend margarine. Until you taste how these flavors blend together, you will not believe what I say about this. So we can talk later.       3.99

Sweet Potato Hash Browns are not to be confused with the hash above. These are shredded sweet potatoes browned on the griddle with a touch of cinnamon and black pepper. They can be stuffed like an omelet…  see omelets (breakfast). Yes they are that good.   3.99

Appetizers:       made here at Clancy’s on a regular basis. Here or to go. And yes they are that good.
